How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

Generate any color and pattern of tropical fish!

INSTRUCTIONS:
download world save and extract to %appdata%\.minecraft\saves
run minecraft 1.13 and open world
push button under 'initialize player'
select base color, pattern color and pattern
push stone button at the end, and your custom fish will appear!
use a bucket full of water to pick it up,
or use the displayed variant to write a summon command,
example: /summon minecraft:tropical_fish ~ ~ ~2 {Variant:117506305}

ADD THE GENERATOR TO A DIFFERENT WORLD:
open %appdata%\.minecraft\saves\Tropical Fish Generator\datapacks and copy the tropical_fish_gen folder
paste in the datapacks folder of your desired world (cheats and command blocks must be enabled)
open the world, or type /reload if it is already open
run the command /function tropical_fish_gen:build_tropical_fish_interface

Just wanted to say this is amazing and greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much for this. Is it possible for you to update this so it works in 1.13 stable as it doesn't appear to at the moment?

how do i use the 1.13 snapshot

From the minecraft launcher, click on the 'Launch Options'. There is an option called 'Enable Snapshots', click the box next to it, so it turns green. Then click '+ Add New' and select 'Latest Snapshot' for the version, and 'Save'. Then click on the 'News' tab to go back to the play button. You can click the arrow next to it to change versions. Happy Crafting :)

A better way to handle the variables occured to me after posting the download, so the commands have been modified and the file reuploaded. I tested everything and it is still working great. Thank you to everyone who has given this page a look!
