A simple, decorated underground cave designed to introduce new players to your Minecraft server before they gain access to the main world.
New players are greeted by a welcoming hologram before following a path through the cave system. Along the way, holograms explain basic server features such as using /rules to read the server rules, /vote and how voting benefits the server, /buy to access the server store and purchase ranks to help support development, how land claiming works, and any other information you wish to include.
The cave is filled with decorative details including ore veins, vines, custom pathways, glowstone lighting, leaves with apple heads, a small lava flow, a simple water crossing, and more. The path ends at a cozy cabin perched on a small hill, surrounded by a wheat field and a small fountain.
At the cabin, players click a sign or interact with an NPC to confirm they have read the tutorial. They are then granted their member rank and teleported to spawn, ready to begin their adventure.
The entire build is designed to be simple and impossible to get lost in, with one clear path from start to finish. Everything is easy to customize, allowing you to add your own holograms, signs, NPCs, and other features to create a tutorial that matches your server.
A small fun fact: the Iron Golem head is a reference to the server this tutorial was originally built for back in 2018 (Minecraft Version 1.12.2). I was really proud of this build when I first made it, so I've continued using it ever since. At this point, it's become a part of my server's history and a source of nostalgia for me.
