Boost your broadcasting capabilities with this awesome TV Tower, suitable for beaming radio waves thousands of blocks away! Features an amazing working elevator and astonishing functional aircraft warning lights! (These won't work pre-1.7, though.)

There are two versions you can check out, furnished and unfurnished. They are structurally almost identical, but the unfurnished version is empty, so you can build your own interiors, while the furnished version is ready to go.



Check out the readme files for information on how to get the towers to function properly. I've also provided instructions and a tour in this snazzy new video!



You may feel free to use this tower (in whole or in part) for any project or server of your own, but if you make it available to the public you must credit me as the creator. I would also very much appreciate it if you dropped me a line so I can see what you used it for.

Thank you for this beautiful tower. I would like to build it too in my own world (just started building a week ago). But I don't know how. Do you have a tutorial (step by step). If yes, how much do you want for it?

Thank you! It's a mash-up of a number of real-world structures and styles with a big dose of fantasy. The lobby/tower base level was originally designed with an eye toward Googie architecture, for example, but I started to get rather a Soviet/GDR feel from it, which I kind of ran with. Having now looked at hundreds of reference images of these types of towers, what I find surprising is how little the design seems to vary - this kind of "ball-on-a-stick" TV tower looks basically the same worldwide, whether in Germany, the US, Australia, Japan etc.
