UK Lan Party

I want to organise a LAN party in the UK for Minecrafters. The event would be quite large maybe 100 people. This is mainly to ask if anyone would be interested in going to this. I was thinking of having it at the NEC in birmingham because it is a central location that is easy to get to and has perfect spaces for a LAN party to be help. If anyone can help with organising thisevent that would be a great help. The idea of this is to bring all minecrafters together for a massive minecraft event. I think there should be:

Tournaments:
Hunger Games
Spleef
Mob Arenas
PvP

Build Competitions:
Different categories
Creative or survival.


For this event to be succesful we would need alot of backing and support from people. This would mean HardWare to host servers on and people to help organise the event. We would also need volunteers to help staff the event. I am looking into pricing of all the different aspects (Cost of hiring a room in the NEC, Food, Security etc...)

If anyone has done this before help would be greatly appreciated.
