Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-Wing is a starfighter of the Star Wars universe that appears in the prelogy and the series The Clone Wars.
The V-Wing is is supposed to be the precursor of the more celebrous TIE fighter and has been in service in both the Galatic Republic and the later Galactic Empire.
