You are a Norse and you find yourself at home inside your own little fjord, but outside there is much wealth and much commerce available. Upgrade your house, live, fish, build a boat and go to trade or raid other villages. Viking age Norway has arrived and it is all for you to conquer and explore through many hidden tombs, well defended villages, well hidden berserkers in the valleys and mountains, violent rebels steal and kill and it is your aim to bring justice. Find the job that suits you best, fisherman, blacksmith, farmer or otherwise, and produce goods so that you can sell them in the markets of all major cities and small villages in Norway(more than 30), such as Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen and even in Vadsø, in Northern Norway. Buy or build your own Drakkar and hire sailors or Viking warriors available for sale from the most prestigious Jarls or Kings, like Harald Fairhair!
Meet the heroes of the Norse sagas such as Ragnar Lothbrok, Bjord Ironside or Floki, characters taken from the TV series "Vikings". You will have the chance to face the gods of Norse mythology if you manage to find the altar of sacrifice, where you can get an open confrontation with Loki, Odin, Freya and others, obviously all at a high price. You can reach Valhalla somehow. Explore Norway to find all of these and see what they can offer you! You will also have the opportunity to get drunk with excellent beer and party with other Vikings in search of beer and alcoholic beverages.
If you want you will have the opportunity to get married and have children. Be careful, it's hard to find someone willing to get married, you'll have to search very hard around Norway. However, you can always count on the slave trade to help you manage your crops or sailboats. Move through the fjords of the North and Norwegian sea and discover small houses or large cities, all represented by Viking themed textures and mods ready to improve your experience...
This is a pack containing a map of all of Norway together with an elaborate modpack, featuring texturepacks, shaders and more. It is a more social than solitary survival challenge, where to survive it is better to find a job that you can do by then selling the goods earned to those who need these goods. It is useful for earning money that you can use to buy what you need the most. Sometimes a job may be to buy goods and resell the finished product made through the previously purchased goods at a higher price, in order to earn the manpower. You can also choose to go raiding, but it will be tougher and you will need solid equipment and a sturdy ship to navigate the waves of the North Sea.
Small warnings: in the downloaded package there will be all the necessary instructions for installing and configuring the map and mod package, together with the necessary textures and shaders. It is convenient and advisable, during the game, to disable the mob spawn option through the following command to be used in game "/gamerule doMobSpawning false". The reason concerns an inconsiderate spawn of wild boars around the map that bring a huge annoyance to the gameplay. Existing mobs will not be replaced or eliminated, which will not harm the gaming experience. If you find anomalies or problems, do not hesitate to report them to me. Thank you for your time!
