In the late 1930s Victorian Railways wanted to re brand the company, this included luxury travel, comfort, speed and faster travel times with reduced stops. the answer was to Streamliner there 4 pacific class locomotives and build new steel carriages with air conditioning. the first entered service as a streamliner in 1937 pulling an all new passenger train. In my build we have S303(not actually numbered) pulling 3 s type carriages(1 power van and 2 passenger cars). by 1951 all locomotives had clocked over 9 million kilometres. in 1954 with the begin of dieselisation all locomotives were withdrawn within 6 months of the B class beginning service and were scrapped within a week of being withdrawn.
