ok i just got this thing to actually work. it is a track that not only has a break in it but a waterfall in the path of the track a perfectly placed detector rail activates the bridge stopping water flow and then pushing out the bridge right as the minecart reaches it . then another detector rail after turns it off pulling back the bridge then starting the water back up again .
