Since I haven't uploaded anything in quite a while I thought I could put up my house from a survival server I play a lot on. This is Wayfarer's Rest.

Most of the players on this server stay around a central location and are mostly occupied with some of the features on the server like their shops, economy, and politics. Because the custom map I made for the server is well over 12,000 blocks I thought this was kind of a waste since most of the map has been unexplored for most of the players.

I left my cozy little townhouse in the main city and just ventured out on horseback randomly. After living in holes in the ground for several days I found this little area that looked really serene. Best thing about it, I didn't even spend all that much time on this area when I made the map. When I left the main city I made it a point to let people know where to find me and to come explore. I did get a few guests almost right away and as the old adage goes, Mi Casa Es Su Casa. Guests are free to use and/or take whatever they need from the supplies and crops as long as replant or leave something in return. One of the cooler features of the server is when you make a significant outpost somewhere in the map you get two villager spawn eggs; one a Castilian, and the other a Butler. This is so you can always have someone to trade with and so it won't feel so alone where you are.

I excluded the cave systems and some of my underground structures because I can't let everybody know my secrets there. :)

There is a map download containing the building and a large chunk of the server map it is built on as well as a schematic of the building itself for your use!

I thought the roof looked too plain without any peaks and there is no way to practically access it so I just made two fake bedrooms up there.

On the server my Castilian and Butler stay in or very near the house, but in the map area I made available for download I don't know where they ran off to, or if they are even in the map anymore. So, don't be surprised if you run across two villagers named Butler and/or Castilian somewhere.

Also, the 3 trees in the back garden around the pond have, since the screenshots were taken, been torn down and replaced with one much bigger tree.
