Well designs with tutorial

Hey there people, and welcome to something I rarely do: a project!!!
Anyways, I was just playing in my single player world in 1.3, when I just accidentally built a well I loved, so I thaught I'd share it with you guys/gals.
Anyway, I will tell you how to build it in here, and of course show some different cool designs I came up with too!

Let's get going then,
Step 1: The base

Everything starts off with a base, here you just need to place 4 full blocks as corners, and logs in the middle.

Step 2: Stairs/Entrance

Here you just need to add in slabs and/or stairs, adding half-slabs gives a nice ''look through'' effect.
You could also add stairs/half-slabs to all sides, or only two sides, but it might look too big or long (That's what she said!)

Step 3: Fence posts
This is just adding a few fence posts as support beams, you might want to change it to nether brick fence in some designs, and also you could make it 3 high, maybe 4!

Step 4: The Roof (outlines)

This part might be a bit harder, because of how to place the stairs.

Part 5: The Roof (Inside)

Here you just place 4 upsidedown half-slabs, you could also put full blocks instead, but I prefer half-slabs.

Step 6: Other Designs

So when you are finished, you have your own awesome well, but made out of wood... What if it catches on fire? Or what about a wooden well in a modern city?
