WEST FRONTIER MAP
Inspired by Red dead redemption

This is a USA frontier map inspired by western movies and games, mainly Red Dead Redemption. It includes deserts, plains, mountains, forests, and swamps, everything you need for a western adventure or just to explore the map.


This project is a personal hobby rather than a professional work, and I hope you enjoy playing around with it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I'll upload the map file here and update it whenever there are changes to the world.

Hey I was wondeirng if you had the world painter file for download I love this map and I would love to use this for just an smp for me and my friends. However we play modded and theres a lack of caves. I understand if thats not an offer you can give but thought I would just ask

Wow, it's look very taste And I hope you will finish working on the project soon. How size the map???

P.S. Could you consider adding ore deposits under land and using vanilla type trees like @CannonMan so that they can be chopped down with the fast tree felling mod? This will certainly make your map better than the others.

Hey there, thanks for the coment and the idea. In the end I'll make two versions of the map: one with custom trees and other without. The map size is around 4300x3.300, also I'd like to know if this's a normal map size or if is too big or small.

Hey! Thanks for getting back to me. Glad you liked the idea :)
Honestly, I'd love a bigger map, like 8k or something like that. Think it's perfect for RP and Survival - more space to explore and longer travel times, which really adds to the realism and atmosphere.
But I totally get how much work that is, so 4k is cool too. But i really dig your map though, it's so detailed and varied. Hope you make a bigger version someday. Can't wait for the release!

Hey. Yeah, maybe I can. For now, I don't really have much time because my college classes have just starded again. So probably around the middle of the year I'll be back here. Meanwhile I have an interesting city minecraft map that I'm planning to post before the end of this week.
