Now working on the inside, adding some of the larger features like altars.

Ah! You got me. It's not quite to scale. I compared the floor plans in an image editor, so the footprint is quite accurate, but in terms of scale I'd say the version in game is about 1.66x the scale of Westminster in real life.

Scale is a little funny in minecraft. Since the player is 2 full meters tall (about 6 ft 5 in), I've found that structures need to be a bit larger than 1:1 in order for the player to get the full feeling of being in the space. 1:1 ratio many times makes large spaces feel cramped and the resolution is so low at that point details become very hard to implement.

Thanks, I use "Journey Map" it functions as a mini-map but also a larger map can be brought up. It's very helpful for getting the scale of the floor plan right!
