Writer's retreat

A writer seeks solitude and inspiration so he secretes himself away in a lonely mountain retreat. Surrounded by his beloved books and eschewing all human contact he hides himself away in a plain, drab brick hut while he furiously works all his waking hours on his latest masterpiece. Totally focused, even the windows are purely functional and are too high to look out of and distract him with views of the world outside...
