Hello everyone,
Here is a little island I have on my bigger map.
This island is named "Wuld Island" !
"Located on the North side of the Ocean, near Kwismas Island, Wuld Island is an unique isle where the volcanic activity transformed what should've been another cold island from the north to a famous tourist destination.
It's the perfect place for all the wealthy tourists who are not afraid to party near a (supposedly) inactive volcano !
The place lives mainly on the export of minerals, but above all from it's tourism activities. Honeymoons and parties are frequent sights !
Come to Wuld Island !"
This Island is one of the first ones I've ever made, back in 2011. You can see the first draft in the screenshots.
Of course, it was pretty far from what it is today. At first, I wanted to make an island where the volcanic activty already destroyed a supposed city/village. The players had to find treasures and clues of what happened.
As you may guess, the big inspration for this project come from Cinnabar Island in Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal.
Some NPC (using CustomNPCs) lives there, and all of the houses are decorated using Decocraft.
In the lore, as of today, the mine stopped producing ores. That's because miners found an ancien house deep into the mine. The local autorities decided to shut down the mine so that archeological reasearch can be made on the ruins.
This ancien house was once a real one a friend of mine made back in 2011. Using a plugin, we were able to make volcanos. The volcanos were growing on the spot slowly but surely, and my friend decided to challenge himself by building a house inside the volcano and try to survive as long as possible. As you may see, it didn't ended well for him ! But I kept the ruined house. And I thought it could be a fun trivia, so I put it there.
This island has a lot of shops, a bar, one chief, one guardian to protect the villagers from monsters, one forge, and a farm so that the NPC can feed themselves.
I hope I didn't forget any details. Enjoy !
