It was about time I took my old star destroyer and remastered it but in the process I thought I'd make a Xyston out of it. So here we are, probably the first time someone ever builds this ship in this scale (although I admit it's not that new in itself, since it's just an upgraded Imperial-Class destroyer...). I had little source material to work with, especially of its bottom cannon, but I think the outcome resembles the actual ship pretty well.
If you aren't familiar with it at all, this ship appeared in Episode 9, as Palpatine's new fleet is made up entirely of these ships.
(No they aren't just the same Imperial ones).
According to the official artbook for the 9th episode, this ship is supposed to be almost twice the size of a basic imperial destroyer, yet when comparing them closely, they seem to have the exact same detailing/greebling (can be seen best when comparing their bridges). People at Lucasfilm probably said "Hey let's take the imperial destroyer, add a cannon to it and pretend it's twice as big to shock everyone. Awesome!". Didn't mean to rant, but it kind of bothers me.
Anyway, I hope you like this addition to the collection!
