Oh and the mac thing in one of the books was merely a joke, mac is awesome and a good thing, it shouldn't do anything different for the fps, but if its an old mac (or pc) it might reduce the fps, either get more ram, a new processor and a hard drive, and if that doesen't work, its time to buy a new one :>

Something that might help with the fps is to download one of the 12w41 snapshots! :)or go to default texturepack! :>
