Do you want to out your armor and weapon somewhere else than on wooden armor stand?
Why not on Zombie Armor Stand:_:
So, if you want to put items on zombie you will throw it on him. after 5 seconds he will wear it. If you throw another armor on him, he can wear it too but only when it is higher tier. The same with swords.
