Introducing a new wave defense game based off of Orcs Must Die. Do you think you have the strategic skill to take on 17 deadly waves of zombies, creepers, and skeletons? Grab your bow, buy some traps, and build your own gauntlet of destruction! I built this map using the lessons I've learned building TF2 MVM and taking it a step further using my Clash of Clans builder. This time however, the waves are preset. Fight alone or team up with a friend for an enjoyable cooperative experience!

Features:

-Map: Twin Passages
-No mods required to play!
-Two preset equipment classes for two player action (War Mage and Sorceress).
-15 Different floor traps, towers, and guardians that you can purchase with levels.
-17 Waves of enemies (new enemies arrive every odd numbered wave).
-Final Wave with two bosses.

Rules:

Players: 1-2

-DO NOT COMPLETELY BLOCK OFF ALL PATHS TO THE RIFT USING BARRICADES.

-ALL TRAPS AND TOWERS ARE 3X3 BLOCKS AND CANNOT BE PLACED ADJACENT TO ONE ANOTHER (EXCLUDING TAR TRAP AND BARRICADE)

-You may not tamper with redstone devices

-You may use /kill if you fall into lava

Start Up Guide:

  1. Enter the ZMD fortress.
  2. Open the trapped chest to access your sword and bow.
  3. Open the other chest to access your armor.
  4. Use the 50 levels you are given to purchase any traps you wish to use.
  5. Use the barricades you are given in the armor chest to help you make a starting path.
  6. Place down trap and tower spawn eggs to create their respective buildings.
  7. Press the button on the traps once to activate them.
  8. When you're satisfied with your defense, press the start button.
  9. Defend the rift from zombies for 100 seconds.
  10. Buy more traps with the levels you gained during the wave.
  11. Press the next wave button.
  12. Continue fending off waves until you complete the game!

YOU ARE AWARDED 12 LEVELS AFTER EACH WAVE. HOWEVER, IF NO ZOMBIES EVER GET CLOSE TO THE RIFT, YOU WILL GET AN EXTRA 3 LEVELS.

Buildings:

-Tar Trap: Slows enemies.
-Spike Trap: Deals 4 damage, fires often.
-Arrow Trap: Deals 3 damage per arrow (shoots twice), fires often.
-Spring Trap: Deals about 7 damage (armor piercing fall damage), fires slightly less often, jams if there are too many enemies.
-Barricade: 3X3 wall that blocks a path.
-Brimstone: Deals 8 damage over time.
-Healing Well: Provides health and strength to players standing on it.
-Grinder: Deals 14 damage over time, fires slowly.
-Void Trap: Instantly kills enemies standing on it, fires very slowly.
-Archer: Summons a snow golem to knock back enemies.
-Paladin: Summons an invincible iron golem to rip through enemies.
-Slow Tower: Slows down enemies around it.
-Cannon Tower: Shoots fire charges in 4 directions (Warning: It will light the floor on fire).
-Auto-Ballista: Targets the nearest zombie within 10 blocks and shoots damaging arrows.
-Tesla Tower: Targets the nearest enemy within 3 blocks and shoots splash damaging lightning.
