Story/context (so that things make sense): After the discovery of a vast flooded cave system on Mars made by the crew of the Zubrin I Martian Research Station (MRS), the International Martian Survey Organization (IMSO) decided to set up the Zubrin II MRS with the main purpose of thoroughly exploring this cave system and searching for potential life in it. To move forward from just probing the caves with a small core sampling drill (what the team at the Zubrin I MRS did), the team at the Zubrin II MRS assembled a massive drilling rig capable of digging a large enough hole to lower people and equipment down into the cave system. New crew and supply are brought to the surface of Mars via a reusable lander which lands not far away from the station and will stay there for six months, refueling and preparing to launch the crew back into orbit. The whole operation is heavily criticized for its aggressive approach and the lack of biosafety as one crew member of the Zubrin I MRS' drilling team had shown Rabies-like symptoms before he mysteriously dies on their way back to Earth.
Trivia:
- Both research stations are named after Dr. Robert Zubrin, a pioneering scientist who has developed many technologies and concepts that would one day allow humans to travel to Mars.
- The design of the Zubrin II MRS with jacked-up modules and several inflatable corridors and domes is inspired by The Martian (2015) and the real-life Halley Research Station in Antarctica.
- The lander vehicle is modeled after the Mars Ascent/Descent Vehicle (MADV) concept developed by Lockheed Martin as part of their proposed Mars Base Camp architecture.
- The IMSO adopted Pascal Lee's tricolor flag for Mars as their flag. You can see it painted on the sides of the lander vehicle.
- The name RIG-421 is a reference to one of three drilling rigs that took part in the rescue of 33 Chilean miners in the 2010 Copiapó mining accident.

Important features:
- Most of the things in this map are rigged with TNT so that they could explode to simulate decompression events or fuel-related explosions. Be very careful!
- The RIG-421 is basically a TNT dispenser with the aesthetic of a drilling rig. You may want to dig a 5 block-deep 3x3 hole first before turning it on to avoid damage to the rig (sorry for this inconvenience). To start drilling, flick two levers, one on the drill bit, one near the top of the tower. Flick the second lever again to stop anytime you want.
- The Station is modular! You can add more modules to the existing station or assemble an entirely new one using a structure block. Here is the structure name of each module and the other stuff in this map:
