Welcome to Baneshroud, a world rife with battle and opportunity. If it's wealth and stature you seek, this is the right place, but only if you're skilled. Upon logging in, you will spawn in the majestic city of Baneshroud, where you will find a bustling marketplace and other amenities to aid you on your journey. From here you will explore the realm, finding towns and nations that are eager to recruit you into their armies and to embrace their ideas, or you may found your own empire one day, and set them all straight.

PvP is always on in the realm, so you are never truly protected unless you are at spawn. With that in mind, you are free to hunt and slay other players on your own terms, or attempt to play peacefully if that is your thing.

Some little updates, Jalkuund seems to be dying, there are a few new towns and a couple new nations! Also, Showcase Standalone was replaced with ChestShops, as it is more stable.

I must say, of any server I've joined, Baneshroud has by far the most
chill environment. Everyone here is very friendly, the book-based server
guide system is very convenient, and (the most unique thing about this
server for me) players can roleplay as much or as little as they want!
For example, I have an academy for redstone education and spend most of
my time on the server in my office writing books. If all this sounds
good to you, come on over and look me up!

I hold this server near and dear. If you like PvP, building, slaying mobs, growing crops, or making money, then this is the server for you. We have a good blend of everything. Just make sure to watch out for rogue players!

My town, Rediscovery, is always looking for decent players to contribute to our growing town and nation. You need to speak with derrick_h_c to be added to the town, however.

In my last comment, I talked about how great this server is. It's only become better, people! The admins have implemented some great new additions, and a new spawn tower/dock plus an airship flotilla are coming to help new players explore the growing number of towns more easily. Once that's up, hop on and come explore the town of Edhellond! We're members of a pvp-forward nation (Raven Rock) but we have lots of great builders and ample resources. Hope to see you soon!

I joined this group this summer, and have been playing ever since. This is a fantastic group, and upon entering Baneshroud you will find good friends, plenty of adventure, a diverse town/nation setup, and harrowing fights. Give it a try!
