Originally started as a server aimed at recreating the feel of Beta Minecraft, Distant shores has gone through a rapid evolution as staff members joined and began to find their stride, and create their own path to what the server is today.

Now featuring a growing number of custom built dungeons, quests, npcs, secrets, and far more things to discover, Distant Shores is rapidly striving to become a server that doesn't fall behind in terms of quality compared to larger servers out there.

The staff here on Distant Shores strive to create both a sense of foreboding mystery, and grand adventure as players explore the world, and to ensure that the server is a fun and friendly environment for old, and new friends alike.

And with the respectable number of builders for a server it's size, Distant Shores is far more than the average generic survival server, with puzzles, death traps, bosses, and much more. Most of this was done using vanilla redstone and custom made commands, data-packs and more to further improve the quality of our work.

So whether you are a lover of building, want to fight fearsome enemies, see the mystical sights of the world, or just want to chat around an open campfire, Distant shores will hopefully have something to interest you!

The Adventurer's Guild of Virual City: Our adventurer's guild supplies quests to slay fierce beasts, help the people, find new lands, collect resources, and anything else that's needed, currently there are 7 active quests, with 24 being developed, as well as one open special mob fighting zone and dungeon, with more to come.

DSD- (Originally created by Grian of Hermitcraft) is near Old Spawn, a fun game that can earn you riches, just don't get too greedy!
