Overview
Beyond Horizon hopes to be the destination for mature Minecraft players looking to relax after work or school. Our goal is to achieve this through discord, engaging in game content and a lively forums. Our server is pure survival with a bunch of plugins included to enhance the core Minecraft experience.

What can you find on the Server?
Our server includes multiple plugins to enhance the core Minecraft experience. Some of the different features that the plugins provide is listed below.


Separate Worlds For Mining – Other servers out there allow mining on the main world. This causes issues over time as the world is picked clean of resources. Not only does this cause issues with the server economy it also makes it harder for players to advance in the game. In Beyond Horizon the use of a separate weekly wiped mining world allows players to compete for resources easily, without the worries that main world mining causes. To teleport to this world visit the spawn of the server.


Chat Management –A few features are separate text channels for a verity of in game conversations including a trade channel for trade, local channel for short distance chat and a global channel for general chat. To chat join a channel all you need to do is /ch join <Channel>, to leave /ch leave <channel>.


General Commands – A few general commands are included for a better playing experience including most command book commands, to further specify what commands are available see the ranks and what commands they include.


Economy System – Everyone needs supplies to build, our server includes several opportunities for players to commerce. One system utilized is a PVE reward system, where players are rewarded for killing mobs. Additionally, there are plots for sale in the spawn to market to new players, for highly established existing players. The economy system ties into the ranking system as several higher ranks require items to be bought from a store to trade to a staff member for rankup. For more information on shops see the website.

Money Commands


Ranks – Each rank on our server is purely time based. Each player needs to be on the server for a specified amount of time to rank up. The first rank is quickly attained by registering, then 15 days played, 30 days played, 45 days in game time played. This allows players to choose freely what they do on the server and not have to grind for ranks. However several higher ranks require items to be purchased from the in game store earned by using the economy system. Each rank provides additional commands and features that improve the gameplay including for example teleport to player, for rank two.




Ranks

There are five current ranks being used on the server, not including staff ranks. They are separate from each other due to the perks they provide. Again as it was written before, ranks can be obtained by in game time.

---Yeoman---
Yeoman - Yeoman is a rank that is achieved on first join. It doesn’t provide much access to the server, however allows a new player to experience the server without the burden registering. It provides the following access to commands and features.

Squire – The first rank achieved, it has access to most features on the server. It is obtained by registering on the website, and doing the command /member in game.

---Knight---
Knight – Are considered the novice player, they have been playing for an average of fifteen days. They have additional perks to the yeoman, however are still limited.

Requirements: 15 days’ registered on site. /report to rank.

This rank can bypass all lower ranks in the queue system.

• Create Mob Defenders, by creating a plus sign base and two blocks up in the middle, of diamond, iron, or gold for respective sizes, of 20, 40, 50 blocks which block hostile mob spawns.

Baron – An experienced player who’s been playing for over a month.

Requirement: 2 Months Playtime, 25,000 BH coins

---Duke---
Duke – One of the most experienced players, they have been playing for over 3 months. They have most permissions for the server.

Requirements: 5 Months Playtime, 50,000 BH coins.

General Notes

This rank can autojoin even when the server is completely full, bypassing the queue entirely. Also they can request a private plot of upto 300 x 300 for their friends or for their own usage from the admins.

What sets our server apart?

Our server is a dedicated 24x7 mature community that is run by a team of dedicated players with over six years experience with Minecraft. Our staff is dedicated and has been playing since the beginning. Our staff is not focused on donations or other monetary goals, but dedicated in striving to become one of the biggest Minecraft communities. All other servers we've created since the beginning have not been P2P even before the EULA update.
