Hey there and thanks for reading. I'm epo from Bityard, the adult Minecraft server and gaming community. We're looking to welcome some friendly new faces to our space!

Bityard is a typical survival multiplayer server that has been online since before 2015. You may pretty much build and do what you like as long as you respect other players and public spaces. We are a smaller-population server that isn't active all the time - we're nothing like what Hermitcraft or Legacy might have you long for. We're simply a group of adult Minecraft enthusiasts who have grown to be good friends through the game. We all have our own bases and busy real lives going on but we revel in coming together to help each other out or work on bigger community projects when we can. We at least set aside time every two weeks to meet up and discuss new developments in what we're making and try building something new. We even occasionally organize events - for instance, over the holidays we did an in-game secret santa that was a lot of fun! Beyond just the Minecraft server, We like to keep up with each other through Discord and play other games together too, like Animal Crossing, Among Us, and Overwatch.

We are hosted on a "High-End" DediMC New York node. We play on 1.16.4 with Fabric for a few server-side mods like Lithium, Phosphor, and BlueMap. Although the server is modded, you can still connect to it and play with a vanilla client. No need to install anything! You can check out our BlueMap here if you like: http://104.243.41.80:25570. Our current world was started in 1.13 and it is our 4th world so far. Though it is a couple of years old now, there is still plenty of room for new projects. That said, we are all looking forward to the world gen changes coming in 1.17 and we will be voting on whether or not to reset the world again when the update draws near.

We also implement a vanilla-minded datapack of our own design with features like:

  Speedy Paths - Walking on Path blocks gives a slight speed boost.
  
• 
  Multiplayer Sleeping - Sleeping players will gradually pass the night - the more sleepers, the faster it passes.
  
• 
  Loot Tables - Almost every loot table has been fixed to work with Luck.
  
• 
  Custom Advancements - Our own series of advancements to guide through the server's features.
  
• 
  End Crystal Mob Warding - End Crystals are more expensive to craft and stop mobs from spawning in a 50-block radius.
  
• 
  Wandering Trader - Has a random selection of almost every block and item in the game.
  
• 
  Community End Gateway - An End Gateway at Spawn that links to a community project. The link can be relocated by anyone using a dragon egg.
  
• 
  The Porcelain - A creative world pocket dimension that can be accessed by using a certain item.
  

When you join the server, you will be prompted to download a resource pack. This is a very small pack that only adds a couple of things, like a pixel Discord icon for our chat relay and some assets for The Porcelain. It is non-intrusive and you can use whatever other texture packs you like unbothered.

We have some basic rules:

  Be excellent to each other! No sexism, racism, homophobia or other bigotry.
  
• 
  No griefing or stealing.
  
• 
  No cheating or use of extraneous exploits.
  
• 
  PvP must be consensual.
  
• 
  Pranks are welcome if they're not griefing.
  
• 
  Gameplay events (like Ender Dragon battles, raids, etc) should be planned openly.
