What is Block-Empires?
Block empires attempts to bring you an innovating Minecraft experience. It is a mild RPG server: players are each part of a race, but are not constrained by this! Each race has its own NPC-filled city and several villages, but there are many shared locations and other interesting sites to be discovered. Players are encouraged to live in and be a part of these cities, but they are free to live in the wild as they please! We have a large 1.8 Environment that still holds countless virgin areas!
What makes Block Empires truly unique is how it combines many fun game play elements. An advanced and healthy economy stands besides thrilling gameplay possibilities. Some plugins have been designed especially for this server! (Such as real and repeatable dungeons and PVP capturable territory.

One can follow many paths on their quest for glory in the realm of Block Empires. Players are free to focus on whichever they find most interesting.
For the brave heroes amongst us, there are an abundance of warfare options available to our players! Players can fight for their race and conquer other raceso villages; indulge in some exciting dungeoneering n(and get rich with finding loot); enter tournaments and fight for prizes; or just indulge in some simple street bashing.
Money is a powerful thing and certainly so in the land of Block Empires.n The more gentle players can focus more on become rich by trading and crafting. Be it selling items at the market or from their homes, be it buying, selling, and leasing houses in the cities, there are many ways of becoming rich off your hard work and economical opportunities to be found. And even if these kinds of players have less experience in the arts of fighting, they can always buy protection! Be rich enough, and you can organize tournaments or run for office!

The currency in Block Empires is called Silver. This is used for a number of things. For instance, transport between the cities: blimps and boats are at the playerso disposal, to save the time of traveling.
As they say, with enough money you can buy anything, and this certainly the case in Block Empires as well. NPC Shops have unlimited supplies of anything you might need - but players can form their own shops to undercut these (sometimes steep) prices or sell rare items that the NPCo s are not able to sell!
For the daring and the rich there is a lottery every 6 hours, where players have a way to win some quick cash!

Block Empires brings the Heroes RPG Plugin to the next level. Each race has access to 4 interesting and diverse classes, with a total of 16 unique classes. There are more than 70 different spells and skills! These are unlocked gradually as players level from level 1 to level 100.n Each class has a choice between almost 10 spells!
Players are encouraged to form parties, to take on the world together, having lots of different abilities to overcome any challenge! Roles liken healer, tank and damage can be appointed to make sure a party is unstoppable!
Besides class spells, there are racial abilities and racial skills that truly make the experience of every race a unique enterprise!

The most unique experience Block Empires has to offer you, are its dungeons. Currently there are a total of 10 dungeons, but many more are being designed as you read this post!
Our dungeons offer players a healthy balance between fighting mobs and exploring. Mobs could be set to spawn behind every corner, but they tend to surprise you!
Dungeons are packed with chests that await your looting (some not so visible and positioned for the more experienced dungeon connoisseur); and at the end of a dungeon there is a Silvery reward, worthy of the dungeono s difficulty.
The current dungeons are strongly varying in size and difficulty: Firstly, there are introductory one-player strolls and harder one-player adventures. Secondly, there are dungeons that people are advised to enter in groups of 3 players. Finally, there are hard and epic raid dungeons, where players will need to work together in order to dream of finishing! Block Empires has a very unique way of promoting PVP Combat.
Each Race has three villages spread around their capital. These villages are however capturable by other races!
It is up to you to defend your homeland! (Or attack your opponents' towns!)
Capturing a village is very easy! When your race has 2 more occupants than any other race in that village, you begin capturing it! It takes a while to make the village yours but it will be well worth it, as players are rewarded money when they capture or defend a village. If you don't want to do it for the money, just do it for the pleasure of bashing skulls!

Another interesting feature is the ability the server has to run elections. Players of each race can elect a leader for that race.
Running for this position is not a cheap thing however - and thus only put aside for those that have gained riches through combat or trade! Players need to pay a fee to enter the race, and will need to make good use of their wealth in order to win those votes!
The elections take place in the last seven days of each month, and players remain in office for an entire month.
Players that have been chosen as the races leader will get a large room available to them in their cityo s castle. They will also get a special "Kingo Caption in front of their names. They may also be recruited by the Gods (Admins) for other matters, and thus start an even more successful career in the realm of Block Empires.

Elven Migration
The history of our world is actually a long and bloody tale of empires and heroes. At first when this land was fresh, untainted by the grip of guile and politics, there was none of the four races. That peaceful purity was sweet but short lived, as the elves eventually came to this land; first in patrols and scouts, then in a wave of migration. They took to this unfettered land immediately and began to linger. There was witnessed a prolonged time of unchallenged rule over the land and it was due to this tranquility that they finally planted their Mother tree and its four Daughters. Years after the Mother and Daughters were planted, to the far-east came a different sort of folk. It came trickling in, reports of mountains that had no trees or plant growth of any kind. A barren desolate place, the elves immediately labeled it as an evil blight on the land and forbade any elf near the unholy place. To their further surprise soon creatures were spotted living amid the rocky outcroppings. Thus the dwarves history on this land began, putrid demon spawn from a blighted land, or at least that is how the elves tell it.
Dwarven Emergence
Dwarves, unlike the elves, have moved very little over the millennia. While the elves were like pollen in the wind trying to find a place to take root, the dwarves were like the slow volcanoes, starting down deep and slowly pushing up. It was this move higher up in the earth that lead to the dwarves finally breaking through the surface while constructing their new home and due to the intense heat and high metal content of then stones they continually seeded into the earth for adornment of their halls, the trees and plants on the mountain ceased to grow. When the dwarves discovered the elves, tall creatures that much farther away from the heart who dwelled in the very trees whose roots broke up and destroyed good stone, they knew right away these were creatures that then Stonefather had forsaken. The war that waged between the elves and the dwarves left the land changed. This went on for a very long time and who knows how long it would have kept going had it not been for the arrival of humans into the area, sailing in on large ships from the south.
Human Intervention and Orcish Incursion
Humano s, while not from the blighted land and signs of a certain affinity to plant life, also wereno t as tall as the elves and showed promise with stone workings and metallurgy. Human airships were allowed near Karraul and elven and human ships completed the trade routes that connected the land. Humans grew up quickly due to the collective profits from both sides and established the city of Lutetia. Using the humans as a medium, the elves and dwarves slowly stored their conflict. But while the elves migrated from the west, the dwarves dug up from the east, and the humans sailed in from the south, the orcs chose to burst from hell itself in the north. The gate from the nether allowed the orcs to rush through and build their city quickly. Building the only way they know how from a race born in the harsh realities of the nether, their city was dark and unholy. The human race isolated itself inside Lutetia fearing attack from the orcs. Meanwhile the human action of self preservation affronted the dwarves and elves, how weak of a race to respond so cowardly in the face of a threat.
With the marked decline in trade between the races, tensions quickly escalated and now we reach present day. The elves and dwarves find old blood hatreds rekindled, the humans and orcs prepare for each others eventual onslaught. The world will be melted and forged down and it will be up to the heroes who arise to shape it.
Gylenhoff of the Elves
The elves inhabit large trees that contain their houses, while the shops and forges are all in buildings on the ground. The elves have a link ton nature and living in the open air that affords them certain advantages.

Karraul of the Dwarves
The dwarves dwell deep in the earth in large dwarf-made caverns. The public areas are large and expansive but private dwellings are utilitarian. Dwarves pride themselves on their use of the pick as well as working for the community and not themselves.

Lutetia of the Humans
Lutetia is a large wall-enclosed city. The market district has everything for everyone and the houses range from the affordable to the lavish. Built nestled in a small lagoon from the ocean, Lutetia also has a large castle overseeing the city and the surrounding lands alike.

Oberon of the Orcs
The orcs originally hail from the dangers of the nether, which is apparent by the large amounts of lava and netherrack that accents their city. Oberon is build firm and strong to reflect the very nature of the orcs. The main entrance boasts a large dragon-like skull to ward off then wary and unwanted.

New Haven of the Free
Built by the humans to be a bustling trade center, it shortly after broke away from Lutetia rule and established itself a free nation open to all races. The docks and market allow all to purchase shops and front their wares. Instead of buying an already built house in the other cities, New Haven allows for the landowner to build up from an empty lot bespeaking to its independence and openness to all styles.

3. No world vandalism
4. No complaining
5. No spamming
6. No racism, in-game race discrimination is permitted
