Welcome to Blothera Kingdom. Experience an RP environment, do your class job, earn money, live a free life... until the night comes. Beware of the Dark Fox Clan as they raid towns at night, and as you travel by roads outside the town walls. Enjoy some of the PvP and PvE events, challenge other players to PvP and participate in political events. The staff is constantly looking into making a more stable game play so you can expect weekly updates. Changes may be seen on the posts in this topic, and the most recent change can be seen on the bottom of this post. The server doesn't destroy the main principle of Minecraft, meaning the world isn't protected on 90% of the places. Minecraft is a sandbox game, and this server respects that. Only the spawn is protected and no player is forbidden to build as long as he/she follows certain rules, as the server does look out to feel like a roleplay server. So jump in, choose your class, apply and join the fun of Blothera Kingdom.

You might be wandering, how does one make an official town?
Firstly, before you go making towns, you must know its a great responsibility.
To actually make an official town, you need:

  • Town hall
  • Bank (Enderchest as bank booth)
  • Walls protecting the city.
  • Barracks
  • Jail, needs 3 cells Min.(Optional: Some form of execution device)
  • Church (And a graveyard)
  • 3+ houses with people living in them.
  • 5+ open plots.

Current official towns:
  • Lundene (Capitol)
  • Sundasia

Townsfolk:
Farmer (1):
Farmers are vital to the survival of the townspeople. Although they spend most time out in the fields, they are the only ones armed with the knowledge of harvesting wheat, melons, and other resources needed for providing food. When it comes time for a farmer to harvest, he uses his hoe to retrieve the crop. The better quality hoe you use, the more rewarding a harvest is.

Miner (2):
Miners work a life underground, collecting ores and stone for the townspeople. The minerals they gather must be sold to a blacksmith, if those ores are to be made into tools. Miners get a better reward from ores for the better pickaxe they use.

Woodcutter (3):
Woodcutters wield axes, but only to gather wood for the townspeople. Woodcutters are the best at gathering wood, as other townspeople cannot harvest the wood itself. One woodcutter and a diamond axe can supply a town with wood in no time.

Blacksmith (4):
Blacksmiths spend most of their lives making tools inside a hot forge. The only ones able to make proper tools, weapons, and armor. No one else can smelt ore except for them. Townspeople rely on blacksmiths quite a bit, for their tools and such, and blacksmiths rely on townspeople as well, in order to keep business running.

Merchant (5):
Money never felt so good! Merchants are cunning and intelligent people, as they will buy for less, and manage to sell for more. They can sell items online or offline, and if they have the potential, start a successful business! They make up the backbone of trading. They name shops by the command:
/scs sell this amount price (While holding the item they are selling) Then click the block you want the item to be displayed on.

Page (6):
Apprentice of the paladins. Any great warrior can tell you that they started out as a page. Many townspeople want to be pages, as they would like their name written into history, but there is one thing that bars the path to heroism. The crusader, paladin leader, must train and test the page based on who they want to be, whether it's as an archer, or as a swordsman. The crusader will test a pages skill, filtering out the worthy from the unworthy. If a page has failed, they can try again, or turn to another profession.

Hunter (7):
They make no sound as they close in on their prey. They shoot the animal with a bow, or kill it with an axe. Hunters provide the townspeople with meat, and are the only ones able to get the most out of a kill. However, when it comes down to combat, the best they can do is try to help.

Innkeeper (8):
Innkeepers are the only ones who can make the best edible food from raw meat and wheat. Most innkeepers own an inn, either inside the city, or between two that are a distance away. Only the innkeeper can tamper with the building, making it as he wishes. Fighting is also restricted inside inns, so that innkeepers have a friendly environment for business.

(You can't apply for the following classes, you earn them)

Paladins:
Protecters of the townspeople, enemies of foxes. Paladins are what pages become. The paladins consist of swordsmen and archers. They are led by the crusader, who can be voted out, if the townspeople prefer another paladin and dislike the other one (70-30%).

Paladin Swordsman:
Powerful warriors wielding swords. They defend the townspeople from dangers that lurk in the night. It could just be a zombie within the town, or the Dark fox himself running through the streets.

Paladin Archer:
Fast, agile, and quick-witted, archers are very important to the defending of a town. They stand watch on towers and patrol the walls. They support swordsman greatly, and can still go blade to blade in combat.

Sage:
Wisest men in all of Blothera, sages can use spells that no one else has seen. They will buy books of spells from the townspeople that gather, such as the miner and woodcutter. A book in the hands of a sage is the difference between life and death for an enemy. Sages are the only ones trained in alchemy and enchanting.

Crusader:
Leader of the townies and commander of the paladins, the crusader is responsible for protecting the townsfolk. The townspeople can vote out the crusader if he is doing poorly, and give the leadership to whichever paladin has the best capability. The crusader defends the towns with tactics and strength. His command can bring up the townspeople, or make them fall. As the crusader, you must remember, "With great power, comes great responsibility."

Dukes:
Dukes rule over the towns that they made when they were younger. They help the crusader in combat situations, and assist the townspeople with any troubles. They manage their town they way they want it. (Dukes can be voted out by the townspeople [majority wins] or by the crusader)

The Dark Fox Clan:
The elite and sinister foxes can face any odds. Choosing only the best from the townspeople, they decide who joins and who doesn't. They can blackmail townspeople to do their bidding. All foxes can auto sneak, making them harder to find.
(/sneak)

Tunneler:
Tunnelers are the townspeople's gathering classes put into one. They can craft, farm, cook, and mine, but they will not fight in PvP combat. ALthough they refuse to fight (and cannot fight) they do play a major role in raids. They will tunnel underneath walls for their team, or stack ladders onto walls for the others to climb up. They can also pickpocket people by sneaking and right clicking them with a redstone torch. They can also vanish for a little time by sneaking and right clicking with a clock.

Berserker:
The one reason to fear an axe. Berserkers use axes to kill, cutting through paladins and townspeople like butter. Rumors say they are madmen, driven insane by their thirst for blood and death. However, it is said that the Dark Fox has found a way to control these murderers, letting them build up their hunger for killing, and then releasing them when they want to raid.

Dark Archer:
Paladin archers may be known for their fast moves, but the dark archer happens to be the best archer in Blothera. They came from a distant land as outcasts and bandits, and now they work with the fox, using their assassin-like precision to kill any target they see. They are known for blinding their victims with poison, before closing in for the kill. Although great at shooting, their skill with a sword is usually lacking.

The Dark Fox:
If horror had a name, the Dark Fox would be on it. He's the best fox in the clan, with tactics, skills, and observation. He sees who can join the foxes, and who makes a good target. Many people try to kill him, but he simply disappears, then stabs their back.

No, there is no way to change this. Being a bandit is not supposed to be a good thing, it is meant as a punishment class.
