The server runs one world, but it is divided into multiple zones. Some zones have different play types or only allow certain members in. Our whole ethic behind this server is for the user to be able to protect themselves without much effort. LWC protects a player's chests and other important inventory objects. We also added precious stones which helps those protect their property. In other words, a diamond block will protect an area of 21x21x21, thus providing griefing protection for your property and work. This server was mainly a private server now wishing to go public. We have a member list of over 50 with about 10 active nightly (EST). Our community is friendly and eager to play with a larger member base. We have fair, friendly, dedicated, and a very active admin staff. This is a place where it is respectable with minimal nonsense.

Although we do not require payment or donations, whatever funds come our way is a great help. Those who donate are helping us out, so we feel that we should help you out too with perks, like zone protection for your work, kits, super pick axe, etc.

1. We rent a 75-slot Ventrilo server from them and it runs with premium codecs for the highest communication quality.

Note:
1. On 6/23/11 we changed it so that you do not need Member access to manipulate the world. Public, as well as Members are able to play on the "Typhon Island" Group. Those who register on the forums and ask to be a member get more rights... like LWC (locked chests), ability to use protection blocks, and home commands. Public members just have standard access.
2. Hacks are blocked. No speed or flying 'hacks' et cetera.

Additional Notes

This long time private server was reset back in April to a custom made Islands map. This server is zoned and sports PVP, Survival, and Creative. Thus, there is something for everybody!
