Cave Crave is a brand new survival Minecraft server featuring a completely custom 20,000 by 20,000 blocks map including massive terraformed landscapes, custom underground dungeons with treasure, and dramatic cave networks.
Cave Crave focuses upon community development and simply having a fun time. Cave Crave does not comprise of ranks or accept donations. However, regular players do earn automatic rewards based upon their play time!
Who are the creators of Cave Crave?
We are a trio of friends that hosted previous Minecraft servers in 2012 to 2015, and have since reunited. Cave Crave promotes a minimal staff policy, consisting of Lake, Skull, and Max. Don’t worry we only go on a lighting-bolt player-killing spree occasionally… Just kidding! We only enter creative mode to repair/rollback griefed structures.
Why did we create Cave Crave?
We want a fun place for us to play Minecraft and run away from creepers with other players, while we procrastinate on our college essays.
What are the hardware specifications for Cave Crave?
Cave Crave is run on a private dedicated server rig, composed of an i7-4770K (OC 4.0 ghz) CPU, 128 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD, 64 GB RAM, and upload speed of 120 Mbps.
What are some upcoming developments for Cave Crave?
We encourage and accept input from our players. Since we are a brand new server, we don't have anything immediate. Long-term, we may white-list the server and implement Jobs, and McMMO based upon the preference among the players.
Frush on Cave Crave, and what is it?
Frush is Friday’s Fun and Rush. Every Friday, the staff will generate a unique, large mini-game structure that contains various mobs and rarities. Players have the opportunity to explore and loot the arena. Beware though, PVP is permitted in the mini-game! Frush is suspended until we achieve an acceptable player base. Sorry!
