About CherryCraft

CherryCraft is a new server with an old community but don't let this intimidate you from joining! Everyone on this server is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. While there's a lot of passion for Minecraft, we also strive on building a community and establishing friendships. We are a semi-vanilla Minecraft SMP server that allows you to build to your heart's content without any pesky griefers ruining your pride and joy. We offer many plugins that add incentive but not too many to the point where you're overwhelmed.

o You protect your own land and containers! No more waiting on staff to come do it for you. You're the boss of what you want to protect.
o An in-game economy! Buy/Sell/Trade your items! You can make your own shop outside of spawn or buy items already listed in our available shops.
o Jobs plugin with many jobs to choose from! You can level up in your chosen job and get even more money from it!
o 25 player slots available, but with this growing player base, expect it to be raised soon!
o PVP Arena to battle it out with other players! Spleef/Mob Arena/Events coming soon!
o A new area called Plot City is now available to build in! You can warp to it from a designated sign at spawn. Plots go from $5k to as low as $2k! Once you buy a plot, you can build whatever you want there for everyone to see so build something you would be proud of! The plot will of course be protected against anyone but yourself. You can even allow your friends to help you build!
o Team Deathmatch as well as Capture the Flag arenas are made and ready to be played in! There are two Warhub portals at spawn which you can enter to be teleported to the games. Enjoy PVP'ing!

CherryCraft Rules

1. Respect everyone on the server. That's the golden rule you must have learned while growing up. To earn respect, you must first give it. We do not tolerate rude and immature players. We expect you to be responsible and mature while you're here to make this not only a relaxing and enjoyable experience for yourself, but for others as well.
2. Admins/Moderators are there to help you with whatever Minecraft problem you may have, but we are not your caretakers. You are responsible for protecting your land and locking your chests/doors. The plugins are all there for you so take advantage of them.
3. No third-party hacks/mods allowed to use on this server. That includes but is not limited to x-ray and fly mods. While this server is semi-vanilla, hacks or mods are frowned upon and not in any circumstance allowed. If you are caught using one of these mods, you will be banned immediately.
4. Keep the server pleasing to the eye. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I understand, but is a 1x1 dirt pillar really something Picasso would do? This also includes cobble/dirt/wooden square abandoned huts. Put effort and love into your creations.
5. No griefing! Editing ANY blocks that belong to someone else without their permission is considered griefing. Yes, even if you replace the block. Looting from unprotected chests/furnaces is fine as long as you don't have to grief to get to them.

* Once you come onto the server, you need to read a couple more simple rules before being able to build as a Member.


CherryCraft Server Plugins

o ProtectionStones - This plugin allows you to protect your land/containers by placing a certain block. You can add other players to your protected area as well as set up flags for further protection. There is a tutorial of this plugin at Spawn if you need any help with commands or how it works.
o Lockette - This beautiful plugin right here allows you to protect your doors and chests from grubby hands. All you have to do is place a sign in front of the chest/door and type in: [Private] and voila! The sign will immediately attach itself to the object with your name on it. To let your friends use the object, just right click the sign and follow the instructions that appear in chat.
o Jobs - Having a job in-game is completely optional, but why not get paid to, well, play the game? You can choose up to 3 different jobs and there are plenty to choose from! As you progress in your job and level up, you get paid more and more. After becoming a Member, just do the command:( /jobs ) to get started.
o EssentialsEco - This is a very simple economy plugin that has everything you need in one. Not only can you buy items from the shops in spawn, but you can make your own shop and sell your own!
o CoreProtect - You don't have to worry about griefers with this plugin by your side! If you notice that your home may be griefed, let a member of staff know and it'll go back to normal in a matter of seconds.
