Welcome to Cloud Cosmos!
Cloud cosmos strives to be a friendly, classic survival-SMP server with very few "quality-of-life" enhancements, such as GriefPrevention-styled claims, accurate time and date with seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall), and many more custom textured enhancements to a classic survival SMP.
We don't make Discord a primary component of playing classic survival Minecraft (the way you enjoy playing it); with that being said, here is a link to the community in which you can exchange messages, and find support throughout your experience in the Cloud Cosmos SMP:

That is very strange. What port are you using to try and connect?
It should look like this:
Name:
Cloud Cosmos [doesn't really matter]
IP:
cloudcosmos.us
Port:
[the default bedrock port]
There are two ways to join Cloud Cosmos!
Java Edition:
Click Multiplayer >> Add Server >> type, “cloudcosmos.us” into the server address box.
Bedrock Edition:
Click Servers >> Scroll to bottom >> Add server >> type “cloudcosmos.us into the server address box >> leave port as is (19132 is the default bedrock port I believe)
please note that joining on Bedrock edition is possible, but not recommended for the best experience. Bedrock players lose access to most functions involving custom model data, such as the custom GUI.
