So basically this is a community run server, you may ask: what is this you talk about?
Well I came up with an idea, what if minecraftians could make a minecraft server run by responsible people like a government would? I will have almost no part in this server deciding what it will be or even who should administrate it.
So here is how it works:
One person that I chose that I belave is trustworthy will start to make the server into something, but if he meets someone else that is also trustworthy he then can collaborate with him(as well make him op), and this will keep growing until we have several people that will build, and decide what happens on their server.
This is manly a social test, it will probably go wrong, lol, but as expected- The server does come with a good set of plugins and should be able to hold hundreds of people as it is run on a dedicated server.
I will probably only run this experiment for only a week, but if you want by the end of the week I can put up the server files for download. And if you guys beg me to death I could keep It up for a longer period of time.
I will be checking up on the server everyday, and if it totally destroyed, I will reset the map and the old op's will lose their powers.

I was there for quite awhile and it went from awsum to terrible in a matter of months. If you read the forums youll see what i mean. Good luck with your server. Be very careful who you Op.
