Fallen Fates is an original idea created for Role Playing on a minecraft server, We use many plugins to help furthur your experience and help you create a character that is truely your own. We are also a very social driven server, by this we mean that there are many ways to connect yourself to other players, such as Towny and the Marriage plugins. We also incorporate the use of the towny war feature, part of the towny plugin to add to role play and appeal to the average minecraft PvPer.

MCMMO plugin is an RPG styled plugin which allows the useage of skills and levels to give minecraft a more MMORPG feel to it. This plugin allows you to shape your character based on your actions ingame, such as if you focus on leveling up swords skill or minnig skill you will become strong with them. at any point in time you can switch to leveling up other skills to truely customize yourself. MCMMO also allows the creation of parties and party chats.

Towny

In Fallen fates there are two starting nations you can join, This is "The Harken Accord" and "The United Alliance" Within these nations, which decide what side of the server you will fight for, has seperate towns you can join and be apart of as a community. Later on you may choose to stay with one of these towns or even make your own for yourself with no allegiance to the starting nations. All towns must be created by a donator. Nations will play a big role if players can get to the point of being able to run such a big job.

Chestshops and Citizens (Citizens aka Npc Traders)

We have setup, instead of a global market, a Chestshop and auction house system for our nations and towns. We strongly beleive in a social RP enviroment. With chestshop such is possible, this allows players to set thier own prices as well as not having to have to deal with the "money gap" and "broken market" many players had to deal with in other servers, where one person hordes all the money leaving a global market with none. Now players are only as rich as they make themself with chestshops and trading items for items & money.

We focus on this concept above all is providing the player with an enjoyable experiance, We know what its like with other servers our staff has been there, when other servers are bickering on how to setup an event we look at them and think "We could do that in our on server in half the time and make it far better and more about the player". It sounds arrogant but big servers make it look harder then it really is, that is why we will be focusing on keeping track of players and thier movements, constantly adding to the lore aswell as allowing players to write thier own lore. Now with 1.3.1 out in minecraft this makes lore writing an a constant aspect that players will encounter on a day to day basis. Did I forget to mention the amount of events? Our server will constantly be having new events every so often. More so then normal RP server becuase we know events are important to players. This is why, as part of our server lore, there will be many war time events between the two main nations and thier towns. Not one for war? There are plenty other events for players to take part in!

The Map & Landscape

There are two main tools that help us with our servers map, Those are Voxelsniper and Terrian Control. With these we have been able to create a map like no other. Many alpha players may enjoy our landscape becuase it very close to appearing like the old beta minecraft maps with a 1.2.5 map seed. The world itself is mainly forrest biome and river biomes, however very very far out there is jungle biomes aswell as swamp biomes. In the future many differant raids and dungeons will have access to other biomes and the items inside of them. This is not to limit you as we have other lore related ways to get such items, but to expand our lore and the server.

Texture Pack, How to Apply

The Texture pack for our server is a slightly modifidy version of Doku, we have modifidy it for the sake of the servers lore with certian locations and events. In the future we will release updates on the textures based on events that have happened. These type of events can only be triggered by players when they find them. We will notify all players when there is an update for it avaliable and will release it when ready...
