Not joining a team will keep you on Nomads, and you will be able to free build.We have a very unusual plugin installed to our server. Listed below is everything the plugin does, all of it's goals, and how it will be fun if played correctly.
~How to play~
When joining the server for the first time, you will be given 3 options: You can join the Spartans, you can team up with Athens, or you can stay as a Nomad!
Your goal is to kill the members of the enemy faction. When an enemy hath been slain, you will receive $150; money can be used to buy things at the shop at the Nomad spawn. There will be portals at your faction's spawn to get back to the Nomad's world.
If you stay a Nomad, you will stay with the default Minecraft free-build feeling. You will be able to do as you please in the world; PvP/Grief/Free-build, it's all allowed!
~Basic Info~
Sparta and Athens have their own separate world to kill each other. If you DO NOT want to PvP constantly and would prefer to sit back and build, then stay as a Nomad.
The command /home will return you to your faction's spawn. You will not be able to set home or go to your home; this is for the vanilla Minecraft feeling.
~Basic Rules~
If you're on a team outside of the Nomad world, anything you build must be colored with your factions color (Athens-blue, Sparta-red)! Nomads are exempt from this rule.
If you kill an opponent, you will steal $150 from them. If you do not have $150 to die, then please try not to engage in PvP.
If you kill a friendly target, then you will lose $100.
/home returns you to your faction's spawn. You cannot set your home separately.

I have fixed the problem with the signs; you are now able to join teams again.
