Mr_Esteem's 1.8 Vanilla Server

Helloooo Everybody!!!


My name is Esteem, and welcome to my server. :)  I'm still working on this site, and the server for that matter, so please ignore the dust.  I've been playing on Minecraft since the early alpha days, and have been a part of several public and private servers.  This will be my first public attempt at hosting an open server, so please bear with me while I work out kinks and what not.

Here is a brief rundown of the server:

• 100% Vanilla.  100% Free.
  
• Survival Multiplayer (non hardcore)
  
• Snapshot build server w/ nightly backups.
  
• 50 public slots (this is more for testing and will increase as the population rises)
  
• 50MB U/D Fiber connection (potentially upwards to 100MB as needed)
  
• 4.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU
  
• 16GB 1866 DDR3 (Currently 4GB dedicated, with the rest available as population rises)
  
• Server/Admin Support.  I play on this thing too, so I'm going to keep downtime to a minimum, as well as post scheduled maintenance as needed.
  

More to come... some of these won't be implemented until Bukkit or Forge gets full 1.8+ support:

• Multiple Servers (PVP, UHC, Etc)
  
• Server/User status
  
• Regional Admins to cover more time zones
  
• Weekly News/Updates
  
• Portal Hub/Mass Transit
  
• Tournaments (Bingo, UHC, PVP)
  
• Protected personal zones
  

Here are the RULES, please /tell Admins or myself about offenders and we'll take the appropriate action. There aren't too many, but more will be added as needed.
