Eternal Plains was created with the idea of keeping it simple. Now, it isn't straight up Vanilla minecraft, as we do have some Plugins like McMMO, Tree Assist, and Iconomy. These plugins are subtle, though, and we use them to add to the base Minecraft experience - not drastically change it. Eternal Plains is based on a tier system for the users. What tier you are reflects on your maturity as a player, how much we trust you, and your building skills. You don't need to be the best builder to rank up, but you amust at least understand the basics.
Joining the Server
When you first start off on the server, you will have to complete a maze. The maze is a rite of passage for the server. Everyone has to complete it, even people we know.

The Tier System


Ghost- Ghost is the rank you will get when joining, and the rank you will keep during the maze. Ghosts cannot break blocks or sprint jump

Tier 0- To rank up to Tier 0, you will right click a sign at the end of the maze to promote yourself and warp to Zerotown - the starter city.

Tier 1- Tier 1 players gain access to the biggest city currently on the server, Amity Lake. Tier 1 players spawn outside of Amity lake. Tier 1 players have permission to build in Amity Lake and all surrounding areas, excluding Tier 2 & 3 cities.

Tier 2- Tier 2 players gain access to Tier 2 cities (such as Laguna del Gato). Tier 2 players also gain the permission to place lava.

Tier 3- Tier 3 players gain access to Tier 3 cities (still in progress). Tier 3 players also gain the permission to warp.
Rules


No griefing (destroying/vandalizing other playerso land, buildings, or property).Instant ban.

No spamming. Instant ban.

No hacks or clients (except some launchers and a mini-map). Instant ban.

No attacking players within Tier 1+ general area (With one exception, but we do not talk about it). Instant ban.

Do not disrespect players or staff. Warning or ban.

No racism, sexism, or hostile discrimination. Warning or ban.

Do not ask for a mod or admin position. Warning first, then a ban.

Do not ask for spawned items, especially for private projects. Talk to an admin privately if you request spawned items for a public project. Two warnings first, then a ban.
Guidelines


Swearing is not outright prohibited, but it can easily cross over into Rule 4 (disrespecting players or staff). If you are going to swear, do so infrequently.

Do not ask the staff for help on problems you can fix yourself.

While you are allowed to ask about moving up to a higher tier, you cannot harass mods or admins if we refuse to move you up.

Keep trolling to a minimum. We enjoy the occasional practical joke, so long as they are not destructive.

Dono t be a jerk. Seriously, if you just follow this one guideline, nothing else will be a problem.
