Factions done right!


We're a factions server dedicated to intense PVP and finite resources. We use a small map with worldborder to keep people from being able to just spread out to no end. Our server includes a functioning economy which allows for players to exchange resources at reasonable rates, no massive inflation here. Mob arena allows for a quick way to make a few bucks without just mining for everything.


At the moment we're not taking donations, and in the future we pledge two things:


1. Any donation rewards will be cosmetic. We will not sell useful ingame items or privileges EVER! No donator kits, no special weapons or armor, only cosmetic or otherwise useless stuff.


2. The rules are the rules -- donating doesn't bring you above the rules, relieve you from prior infractions, or get you admin power. Donations are meant to be donations, its not a way to buy yourself above the law.


The admin staff is very small, just 4 guys and we're all old. We aren't hiring, don't ask. We don't give out admins as a reward, or some status, or anything like that. You won't find the typical rampant power abuse here.


This server is all about open gameplay: The rules list is very short. You should read them, because they're important, but almost none of them relate to actual gameplay. You can pretty much do as you please. If you want to kill everyone in sight go ahead. If you want to run off in the mountains or live like a mole that's fine. We try to stick as close to vanilla as possible otherwise, factions handles the anti-grief protection and we use some plugins to stop common pvp exploits. Teleporting is substantially limited on this server, you may only warp to the main town and your faction home. We want people to have to think about moving around on foot from time to time.



We have a website to go with the server, it has some gameplay basics, like the command list for factions and some explanations. We user overviewer to generate maps, those are posted on the site on a 3 day lagging basis. It updates daily, but is always 3 days old. You can check that out here.
