Gonfonix Survival Server

I searched multiple servers trying to find one that was not too restrictive. Most had so much of the world grief protected to the point where I could not do anything or the very mechanisms meant to protect players' from griefing would be used instead to troll. Not on this server. Apart from spawn, everything is open. It means having to be creative about hiding your base, your stuff, etc. I have been raided over 4 times but keep playing because it's such a good server. Because people can grief and raid, you actually end up building trust with other players and become cautious of others. I even became friendly with some of the players who raided me in the past and we play together now on a whitelisted server. Just an overall great group of people as long as you don't take things too personally when it comes to raids. Owner is on to fix, improve, and update server daily. I've started making treasure hunts for people so although it is still a fairly vanilla feel, there are ways to get some great items from other players or by supporting the server.
