Grant's Royal Gamers — Survival • Hardcore • Community
A long-term Vanilla+ survival server built around progression, community and giving players a world worth investing in.
At its core, GRG offers two distinct ways to play: Survival and Hardcore. Both retain the freedom and exploration of Minecraft while adding progression systems designed to reward actually playing the game—not simply buying your way to the top.
👑 Rise from Peasant to King
Every player begins as a Peasant and can work through an extensive progression system:
Peasant → Yeoman → Freeman → Squire → Knight → Baron → Lord → Noble → Duke → Prince → King
Ranking up isn't simply a matter of collecting money. Your progression reflects what you've actually accomplished.
Explore. Mine. Fight. Travel. Gather resources. Develop your skills. Visit the Nether and eventually conquer the End.
Higher ranks unlock greater privileges and rewards, with King representing a genuine long-term achievement rather than something you're expected to obtain in a weekend.
⚔️ Survival or Hardcore
Want a traditional long-term world with an expanded economy and quality-of-life features? Play Survival.
Want your decisions to carry considerably more weight? Enter Hardcore.
Hardcore has its own Overworld, Nether and End with isolated inventories and storage. Players have a limited number of lives, and death can eventually lock you out of Hardcore entirely.
Extra lives can be earned and obtained through gameplay—but losing everything carries a serious price.
Hardcore isn't simply Survival with harder mobs. It is intended to be a more dangerous, scarce and consequential way to experience the server.
💰 Player Economy
Earn money naturally while playing, build your wealth, trade with other players and participate in an economy designed around long-term progression.
Jobs reward normal gameplay, while shops, player trading and other systems give that money somewhere to go.
As you rise through the ranks, increasingly valuable rewards and opportunities become available.
🏰 Build Something Worth Protecting
Claim your land, establish a home and expand.
GRG is designed around persistent worlds where players have time to build something substantial rather than watching everything disappear with constant resets.
Whether you're building alone, working with friends, trading resources or creating something enormous, the world belongs to the players who inhabit it.
📈 Skills & Long-Term Progression
GRG combines Minecraft progression with systems such as mcMMO skills, Jobs, ranks, kits, crates, an economy, land claims, player shops and additional challenges.
These systems are intended to complement Minecraft rather than replace it.
You can still log in, punch a tree and simply play Minecraft.
There's just a hell of a lot more waiting underneath it.
📖 Don't Know Where to Start?
Use /handbook.
GRG includes an extensive in-game handbook explaining the server's worlds, ranks, economy, Hardcore system, commands and other major mechanics.
You shouldn't need an administrator standing beside you to figure out how the server works.
🛡️ Public Beta
GRG has grown from a small private Survival/Hardcore server into a much larger interconnected world, and we're now opening the doors to the public.
The server is entering Public Beta, meaning the core systems are operational while balance and smaller details will continue to evolve based on real player experience.
Come build something.
Come get rich.
Come lose all your Hardcore lives through an entirely preventable series of terrible decisions.
And, eventually…
Earn your crown. 👑
