Honium Minecraft Server About Honium

Honium is a Minecraft server that came as a result of a three-year-long passion project.
Have you ever played on a server with Factions or Towny and wanted more from the roleplay aspect of those game modes?
Well, Honium has you covered. Because we expand upon that idea by focusing on the concept of Geopolitics within Survival Minecraft.

The server is evolving and improving every single day, but one thing always stays the same:
You start small with a single chunk of land and then work your way up to becoming a powerful nation.

As a result of a close partnership with modders, our server runs a customized version of the Lands plugin.
This means that you can do things of which those aforementioned servers of a majority fall flat on.

On Honium, you can declare war and reek havoc on your enemies' lands. Take all of their money for yourself, and secure their borders.
Or, you can gain allies on your own, go the pacifist route and not engage in any battles or conflict, tax your citizens, create shops, and more!

When you are playing on Honium, you can take on any style of government or play. It is your story to write upon!
Also, our server is fully cross-platform between Java and Bedrock, through the use of GeyserMC.
And, our Anti-Cheat system accounts for both platforms as well. So, all of your friends are included when playing on our server!

Joining on Bedrock

We aim to have our server accessible to the most people possible.
Meaning that, yes, you can join using the Bedrock versions of Minecraft!

For the PC and Mobile versions of Minecraft Bedrock, this is very simple.
For the console versions of Bedrock, we will have to do some configurations with the system network settings.
But, do not worry. In this quick guide, we will explain how to do just that!

For the PC and Mobile versions of Bedrock you will join using the following information:
  • Server Address: play.honium.xyz
  • Port: 25566

Through the use of GeyserMC, you are able to add this information to your server list without issues.
Now, we will go over how to bypass the pre-set server restrictions on console versions of Bedrock.

Go into the Internet settings of your console, and under the DNS settings, switch from Automatic to Manual.
Then, input the following DNS records: For primary, enter 104.238.130.180, and for secondary, enter 8.8.8.8

After you save those changes, restart Minecraft and join any server. Your traffic will then be re-routed to an in-game server list. You're able to pick the pre-set servers for Bedrock, as well as add custom ones.
When adding our server, use the aforementioned Address and Port.

Joining on VR

Our server natively supports the Vivecraft plugin, as well as the aforementioned Bedrock version of the game.
This way, players using Virtual Reality can join, either using the native Bedrock Edition VR mode, or the very popular Vivecraft mod.

Players who join using the Vivecraft plugin, which is for the Java version of the game, will have a special join message.
They may also have weird movements compared to players using a Controller, Touch Screen, or Keyboard.
However, we have teleport and other features which may make the game unfair to Non-VR players disabled.

Furthermore, if you are playing on the Java version of the game, you can install the Non-VR version of Vivecraft.
This is completely optional and will not affect your experience differently from if you were playing on Optifine or Vanilla.
The Non-VR launch option for Vivecraft simply makes it to where you can see players move their bodies in-game.
