It is well advised that you read the entire server description.
Kadessa: Sub saeculi, named after the servers capitol Kadessa, is a whitelist, English speaking, 24/7, difficult, community oriented server that runs on U.S eastern time zone. The server is reminiscent of the single player preset Tunnelers Dream. The difficulty is hard, the entire world is underground with a top bedrock layer, eternal daylight, with caves and such being rare; This creates as mentioned a very difficult environment. I am sure you have many questions such as "what about clay, sand, plants, or animals?". To answer that the capitol city, and several yet to exist cities (players haven't founded them yet) will have me, and my admins in them, we will sell resources at a fixed price to the citizens and traders of that town or city, who will then sell it to either traveling merchants, or to nearby players and small settlements. From there the process of commerce drives on, prices along with distance rises, which could prompt players to come together and form a city to keep prices down. In short if you want to live alone, have no contact with anyone else, and make a lot of enemies, you will find yourself powerless against the mobs, low on resources, and a generally bad time. If you however decide to even at the very least interact with traders or your neighbors you will find there is strength in numbers, and resources limited only by the gold you have, along with a good time. Another big question many of you may have is about the character of me or my admins. My admins are kind, honest, fair, people, whom aren't going to torment you, but also wont spoil you. The spoiling is my department, not theirs! Do not answer the application regarding your favorite color, if you answer it you will not be whitelisted, I repeat do not answer it. Anyway its a good idea to think of this server like a petri dish, and in that dish exists several key factors that influence in one way or another civilizations, towns, villages, communities to form much more then under normal conditions. The end goal is to see the server organically grow, cities and empires rise and fall, in a environment where the actions of a single player can have as much of an impact as an entire village. Where you build a home could influence trade routes, where you dig a tunnel could spur the creation of a town, everyone you befriend could drastically effect diplomacy and politics for multiple cities, or could ensure you a discounted price on goods.
The rules regarding this server are to be followed, they all have a reason for their existence, and punishments can vary from a warning to a ban, and before a punishment will occur you must be found of guilt, which if you did break a rule, would be very easy to find, if you did not break a rule, then there would be no evidence of your guilt then.
No hacking or third party programs, no x-ray, no mods other then optifine, no harassing, no excessive swearing, no talking like a child; At the very least attempt to spell or compose your sentences right. Do not answer the application question regarding your favorite biome, if you do, you will not be whitelisted, I repeat do not answer it. No (for the time being) going past 30,000 blocks over world, 3,750 nether, I am still phasing out an old server out so not a lot of ram to spare. No caps abuse, no bedrock glitch, and remember use common sense. As for griefing, you are not permitted to grief the spawn general spawn area, the capitol city, or any village or larger. I am not saying you can't grief either, let me explain. On one hand raiding a village, declaring war, annexing, booby trapping roads and paths, highway ambushes, etcetera are all acceptable forms of grief. Running around blowing up and burning down homes, breaking beds, slaughtering all of someone's animals, booby trapping the insides of peoples homes, etcetera all are forms of grief that children use to sow misery and ruins peoples day for a quick laugh. That form of grief is NOT permitted, essentially grief is acceptable when you know you put yourself into that position.
To those that read up to here, congratulations your nearly done reading and we are all eager to have you here. To those that didn't, one last time I advise you to read the server description, the same applies to you skimmers. Remember once you post your application you could be whitelisted within the hour, or a few days, the best things in life are worth the wait. To make an application see the example below, and don't be afraid to ask questions once your in the server, the more informed you are, the less you have to worry about.
