Hello, my name is Aldrian_Emrys and I am the owner of Land of Turais. The Digital Penquin, MMORPG original server. I am proud to announce the re-continuation of this project, along with the revamping of the original world lore. The network we have built has had the pleasure and patience to take our time with this project in particular, as I will not release it until I feel the full story we want to create can be published. The adventure we want to go on is one of mystique, exploration, trouble, obstacles, and friendship, so without further ado, here is our Land of Turais.
Gameplay Atmosphere from Player Perspective:
Land of Turais is the world built by ancient gods an eon ago, but presently it's still in the age of rebuilding after a war of the gods, so the player is enacting as a savior of Turais, but there will be many twists in our storyline, so keep tuned. The player is introduced to their character (one character of multiple they can have eventually) via a questing system where they get to travel around our massive 16k by 16k world and get to know their abilities and the races around the world who are trying to work together to push the recreation of the world forth as a deep magic or being and its followers are constantly destroying the landscape and soul of the world. The biggest obstacle, the darkness is greater than the light... We will not make it easy to turn the world back. Our goal is to use Minecraft as a platform to make a full blown story for the players to experience and it will take an entire server of players to defeat what we have planned.

Skills & Races:
Still in the thought process, as the original world lore is being reconsidered, but we will be running with anywhere from 10 to 15 races. Each individual race will have passive skills as well as skills to learn down their personal racial lines; however, our game plan is to cultivate over 350+ skills for players to hunt, collect and master.
- Each player may choose their race.
- Each race has a homeland, some form of a kingdom and it’s own personal quest lines for the player to explore.
- The players must work together to defeat certain dungeons.
- After beta skills will be ever growing.
Questing:
Questing will be made into a full storyline for the player to follow. With additions added constantly to keep up with the players, we'll be taking a heavy look at our history in lore and how we want the players to go on an adventure.
- Quest Lines will be both main story and random lines for background lore.
- Quests will most likely be the primary source of income for a player.
Economy / Nations:
The economic status of a player will derive from where they choose there homestead to be, whether it be a staff run kingdom/nation or a player created town, these towns will be where most trading and shops are located for players to sell and buy.
- Players are free to create their own towns within Official Nations and out of them; however, outside the O.N. it will be the wilderness and players may create a kingdom, but must fear for war.
- All shops will be player run, so the true market is up to the players.
