This is the official Minecraft server of Lich King, thrash metal band from Massachusetts.

If you're into both Minecraft and heavy metal music, welcome aboard. Come 
hang out, build, talk about metal, and nerd out with us. We're pretty 
laid back, but we have very clear rules in-game and we'll kick/ban you 
if we have to, so don't be lame.

Quick rundown:
  • There are two worlds: Survival and Freebuild.  Use portals to 
    travel between the two.  At the moment, the only portal to the Freebuild
     world is at the Spawn area.
  • In the Survival World, start or join a town to protect 
    your belongings.  You have all the tools necessary to protect your own 
    belongings, and it is solely your responsibility to do so.
  • Earn money by killing mobs and trading or selling 
    items.  Money is used to start towns and nations, to claim plots of 
    land, and for daily upkeep for towns and nations.
  • New players start at Player rank, and if you hang out, 
    participate, socialize, and be cool we'll promote you to Builder. 
     Builders have build access in the Freebuild world.  Again, promotion to
     Builder rank is solely at the discretion of the Mods and Admins.
  • Consider this server to be in beta.  We’ll be 
    adding features and functions as we go along.   The economy is 
    particularly subject to massive overhaul as we figure out the best way 
    to balance it.
  • Our original Minecraft server was featured on Kotaku last year.
