Welcome to the Lima Factions Server!
Here, your destiny awaits. You can choose to join the glorious Kingdom Of Rostock, the almighty kingdom of the lands or instead become a traitor to the crown and plunder the world in any way you see fit and even create your own faction. But beware, for such traitorous acts will not go unpunished!
If you choose to join Rostock, you will enter the greatest and most powerful kingdom to have graced the lands and you shall be able to advance in rank. You will start as a mere peasant, poor and barely surviving. Should you wish to officially become a part of Rostock, you will become a Villager. You will have rights to build near the city and be protected by the imperial army. Once you are deemed fit, you will become a Townsman. With this there are responsibilities, such as being a merchant, a miner or perhaps a farmer. Should you ever be commended in defending the town and its people, you may be worthy of the title of Knight. This is your entrance to the world of Nobility and the rank commands great respect from the common folk. If you gain the support of the people and want to make their voices heard and represent them, you can become a Baron. Barons have an important role of submitting other players to become a part of the nobility. They also can vote to overthrow the king and appoint a new one shall such a grave situation ever arise. The highest attainable normal rank for the citizens of Rostock is the Duke. They are the king’s eyes and ears. Not only do they have all of the power of the Barons, they have an important job of implementing taxes and laws that the king decides upon.
Lastly, there’s the King. The King rules the Kingdom of Rostock and has overarching power to create laws and taxes, have persons executed, appoint nobility and rule his kingdom anyway he sees fit.
The above are standard “mortal” ranks. To ensure that the Kingdom and the lands are governed fairly, there is also the Great Council (staff team). There are three tiers of members in the Council.
Junior Council:
Trainee councillors (staff) have the ability to pass information to senior staff for punishment. They also have to ensure that all players are following the rules.
Senior Council:
Senior Councillors ensure all players play by the rules and take appropriate action in the case that players are not doing so. They can also remove a Knight, Baron or Duke from power shall the need to arise.
Chair of the Council:
This is the administrator of the server. They have all power and all decisions must be validated through them.
Supreme Council
These are the owners of the server. They have overriding decisions and ALL council members are elected through the Supreme Council. They are the “gods” of the land.
Rules
There are two different types of crimes. The first are crimes that are “treasonous”. These are crimes that one will be punished for in game. For example stealing and looting can lead to executions or fines.
The second type of crime or rule is considered forbidden and must never be done in game. An example would be making obscene or sexual structures, using offensive language or disrespecting staff.
Treasonous Rules
Killing another player - Punishment varies: usually execution
Stealing/looting - Imprisonment
Creating a faction - Execution
Banditry - Punishment varies
Disrespecting the King - Punishment varies
Building on royal land without permission - Fine + teardown of building
Illegal to possess weaponry in the town square and the immediate area unless one is a Knight - Punishment varies
Attacking Rostock - Execution
Forbidden Rules
Offensive Language - Kick/Mute or Ban in extreme cases
Building obscene structures - Temp ban or Ban in certain cases
Abuse or disrespecting staff - Kick or Ban
Looting or destroying an enemy’s factions building without declaring war - Loss of faction + tempban or ban as this is considered griefing
Use of lava or water to destroy bases - tempban or ban as this is considered griefing
The decisions made by the Supreme Council overrule any other decision and is always final.
