It's very well done, although it's very hard. I didn't get past the tutorial. And after 3 deaths, I stopped playing. If it's this hard just in the beginning, I don't think a lot of people are going to stick around. Maybe tone down the difficulty? I get that you want it to be like Dark Souls but most people playing Minecraft aren't used to that difficulty. If enemies dealt less damage, at least in the tutorial, I'd really like this.

Hi so i am a overall good enough minecraft player and the hardest part for me is that the controls are a little weird at first but with practice you get used to them and it becomes easier also this is a souls-like meaning of course you will die often i personally died around 10-15 times just for the tuto (now i did accidentely skipped a little the tuto messages things because wanted to go fast but it did not work out for me) but i suggest giving another try as the world of megido abyss is so much bigger than just the tuto and could provide a different experience than what you usually experience in minecraft lastly no one expect you to beat bosses first try you should try to learn their move set and learn what to do and when to be able to counter them practice makes you good against any enemies and bosses and its normal for you to die a lot trying to learn those enemies and bosses moveset and the way they attack

skill issue, tutorial was pretty easy imo and I've never played a souls-like

You have no way of getting back once you're low on health.

If you've collected a lot of anima and are forced to make it back you will most certintly die losing all of your anima, this game sucks.

It is available in the early game, as early as the moment you finish the tutorial. The merchant in town sells it, and there's an NPC outside the Leere gate that gives you some for free if you don't have any.

And besides, if you're dying to one dungeon constantly, you always have other options, especially this early game.
