What kind of server is Melon Quest?

+ We are very a friendly community.

+ We have experienced staff whom are devoted to the smooth running of the server, and receive regular whippings from the Melon Queen herself to ensure it.

+ We evolve frequently in accordance with the feedback from the playerbase.

+ We are an 18+ server, anyone below the age is welcome, but know that language used will reflect the 18+ nature of it.

+ We will not tolerate a breaking of the rules. They are in place to benefit everyone.

+ We require awesome people. If you consider yourself to be awesome, then please read on. If you are not an awesome person, joining our server will make you awesome.

Towny
This plugin allows the creation of a Resident-Town-Nation hierarchy, as well as serving as protection against griefing.

+ Purchase a town and become a mayor

+ Grow it your way with no restritions

+ Invite your friends!

+ Allocate land

+ Build something incredible in the comfort that it is protected from griefing!

+ Create a nation (a group of towns) and become a king, with your actions affecting the growth, or indeed decline of your kingdom.

Or just simply join an already existing town with friends - use it as a base from which you can become anyone you want to be.

iConomy
Using Nips, our currency, you can purchase items from shops, from other players, and trade to your hearts content.
Become a miner, an enchanter, a farmer, sell your wares to the server shops, to other players, or indeed set up your own and
undercut your rivals. The possibilities are endless, and there are many ways to make money. Perhaps you would like to hire someone to do some work for you? Or maybe you just want that extra bit of land for your town. The economy drives all of this!

Multiverse
With multiple worlds to play in, there is something for every type of player:

Creative
Survival may not be for you. Whether you are the greatest architect in minecraft, or an absolute beginner, enter
and build to your hearts content. Perhaps plan town projects? Show off your skills, or compete with friends. Think you have
built something awesome? Have a chat with staff, if your lucky, it may get world-guarded.

Adventure
We have dedicated an entire world just for you! This map changes regularly based on player requests.
If you have a map you want to see then post it on our forums. We have already witnessed an almost impossible parkour map, and out of this world pvp games.

PvP - Factions

We have a world dedicated to PVP, called Normandy. All special permissions are turned off here, except our custom made PVP classes and a few server commands suck as /home and /spawn. Hide your faction well because TNT and creeper explosions are turned on and there is NO lwc protection here! Beware though, you could lose it all!

The Nether
Home to the foulest creatures known to Meloncraftians keep your wits about you as
you battle for your very existence. Is that a dragon I hear?

Survival
It's survival of the fittest out there! With Towny your only form of protection from monsters and other players, your best bet is to make a town/nation and watch your population grow!

Plugins
MCMMO
Whatever you're good at, be it mining, farming or PvP'ing, you get rewarded for doing what you do best.

LWC
If Towny wasn't enough, you can further protect your property using this plugin.

MyWarp
Found somewhere you wish to return to? Using this plugin players have the ability to create a place known as a 'warp' which you can teleport to at a later date.

Machina
Use this awesome plugin to create an automatic crafting setup, use the pipes to organise your storage room or get materials transfered to a new chest with ease. Use the brewing feature to make potions with ease or the splitter to organize your new "pipe" system.
*Note that this uses the plank block as a pipe block and does NOT add new items to the game, meaning you do not need to download an external mod to play!


Rules and Enforcement

Key Rules:

1. Wheatono s rule is in effect: Dono t be a d***.
2. Be respectful to other players and, especially, to the staff members.
3. Harassment, of any nature, is never considered acceptable.
4. Our target player base is 18+, and as such moderate profanity and sexual content is allowed, at the discretion of the moderation team.
5. Discrimination is not acceptable on our server.
6. Do not ask for OP. You wono t get it.
7. Spamming is not allowed.

Our devoted staff will not hesitate to impose punishment as they see fit, this could be in the form of mutes/kicks/bans
in-game, on the forums and in mumble. The punishments imposed are not the worst consequences you will endure. The worst
by far is the respect lost to you by our community.

Donations
Donations are greatly appreciated, not only do they go towards improving and expanding the server, but for your
commitment certain perks will be bestowed upon you.

"This server is for me" you say? How to join:
First of all, log into our server and read the signs. There is a whitelist sign there, just click and you've joined. Its that easy!
If you are having trouble just ask for a staff member in the /whitelist channel and we will be right there to help.
