Mystic Redemption

Mystic Redemption is a Magic Spells, Factions PvP server. The server strikes a balance between vanilla PvP, magic, mcMMO, and adventuring. The main features of the server include:

Factions: Claim land for your faction. People cannot steal items from the chests in your faction, nor break blocks, so you can use a faction to protect your items and buildings. However, explosions are on, even in your faction, so people can potentially break in if you do not hide or defend your base well.

Magic Spells: Find bookcases throughout the world and learn spells. Spells can be casted with reagents and cooldowns, and can be used for multiple purposes. The five types of spells are: Attack Spells, Buff Spells, De-Buff Spells, Conjuration Spells, and Movement Spells. There are a wide variety of spells, ranging from strong potion effect spells to forcepush spells to spells that conjure magic armor and weapons for the caster. All of the spells are custom made for our server.

mcMMO: Players can level up skills in many areas, such as mining, swords, archery, fishing, and many more. Leveling up skills yields rewards doing relevant tasks, and makes the player stronger in PvP. All of our skills have been customized to be balanced and fit our server, especially fishing, which is now a very useful and profitable skill.

Custom World Generator: TerrainControl was used to generate the Mystic Redemption world. Many of the settings were customized to make more pronounced hills and rivers, over 50 naturally occurring custom trees, and custom ore distributions varying with biomes.

Adventuring: We have created many custom, protected locations on the map for the player to explore, such as dungeons, parkour towers, and other ruins. Exploration can be valuable, as many spells and treasure chests are hidden throughout the world.

Mob Arena: In addition to all of these features, the server has multiple custom mob arenas, all using magic spells, for a fun additional challenge. Earn rewards for fighting mobs and try out mob arena variants of many of the spells you can find throughout the world.
