What is the Nephrite Server?

The Nephrite Server is a small public server that uses the Nephrite Mod Pack including mods such as Tinkers Construct, Lycanites Mobs, Pams Harvestcraft and more! With this being new in 1.9 there will be a lot of mods added and possibly removed over time so expect a lot of change initially.

How to join:

You don't need to make an account anywhere, etc, just download the Nephrite Modpack via the new Curse Launcher (not the old addon manager), load up the game, type in the address and join!

To get the modpack you first need to download and install the Curse Launcher if you don't have it already, it is used a lot for Minecraft Modpacks. Linux users can use this tool for now until Curse get a Linux client going.

Next, load up the launcher click the Creeper face on the left and search for Nephrite under modpacks, then wait for it to download and install and then load up the game, under multiplayer The Nephrite Server should already be listed for you, if not or it is not working, use the server address listed here:

Plans:

The server is still very new and has just moved to 1.9 so things aren't perfect just yet. Eventually the plan is to have a home city for the server with shops, NPCs and maybe Quests. For now it is just a simple world that may be reset in the future for the Realistic Terrain Gen mod.

Outside of the city players can build freely or explore, PvP is also enabled outside of Cities, Towns, etc. NPC towns and villagers will be built and protected where additional quests and shops can be found. Other buildings such as Arenas (for PvP or fighting Waves of Mobs), Race Tracks and Quest-Based Dungeons are planned too. These are all big plans that are no where near complete at the moment.
