Hello future and past players!

I am HavocMasterChief, the previous owner of ArcadeMc. I had decided to shut down the community due to the EULA revisions. For those who might not have heard of ArcadeMc, it was a community that I had grown strong over a year and a half of being up. Today, I am proud to announce that I am bringing back a server community with the same old style that I had previously, with some minor modifications.

Some of these modifications are the name, donation choices, and members of staff. The name is now known as ObsidianMc. I chose this name because it stood out as something that could be simple to remember, and yet catches the Minecraft feeling that we all know and love. Due to the EULA revisions, I have modified the donation ranks to consist of various lengths of a VIP status that provides aesthetic perks.  (Hats, nicknames, a prefix in chat, etc...) The final change, our staff, will be hand picked from the people who assisted in making this possible. If any extra positions are avalible, and/or open, then I will carefully inspect and choose someone who I feel will fit the position, and will not abuse the power that they are given.

I will now proceed into the more technical details of the server. We are using two separate worlds to have individual sections of the server. Starting with the Survival, we are using GriefPrevention to allow players to create protected areas of claimed land. These regions cannot overlap with others, giving you from top to bottom to build in said regions. As time progresses we will continue to add fully custom coded plugins that we hope you will enjoy to the fullest. From simple additions to custom weapons, we feel as though it will continue to add that spark to your experience. Our Skyblock is just a generic Skyblock that will have a Tekkit Classic replica of UUMater eventually added, to allow you to create the items from the nether using Ghast Tears.

Upon joining our server we once again hope that you will enjoy your stay at ObsidianMc. If you are to discover any bugs, glitches, or exploits, please notify one of our staff members so that it will be fixed. Thank you for taking the time to read this bland post describing the server.
