Introduction to Odyssey:

Odyssey, owned by Kiracookie (Kira) and iOnalos (ion), bring to you a server that isn't the usual "PvP, raid, grief, factions, towny, or mcmmo" type of server.

At Odyssey, we believe the community should be able to work together without the fear of being griefed, being stolen from, or random PvP. We don't think everyone should be separated by a faction, or a town that claims to be better than everyone else. We are equals. Everyone deserves the same amount of respect.

Even if you are a new player to Minecraft, and don't quite know your bearings on how to craft things, or where to find what, we will gladly assist you in finding your way, so you can be the best that you can be! We are a rather nice community based on the game-play we try to ensure to you. Everyone is friendly, so if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask them!

Now some general information about our gameplay and a few plugins we run:

We are a survival server, meaning PvE. We have disabled PvP(except in certain worlds)
Odyssey has Ranks, and Donator ranks (Yes, I've heard some people actually hate donator ranks, but hey, how else are we supposed to keep our glorious server running?)
We have Grief Prevention to keep your home and items safe!
We have Multiverse, for a wide range of different worlds including: Games, Block Hunt, Etc, and more worlds will be coming soon due to events and by demand!
Block Hunt! A hide-and-seek minigame to be enjoyed by all! Themed maps during the holidays, and regular maps coming soon for all the time fun!
We have a unique shops plugin so you can see what you're buying before you actually buy it! Soon, a donator rank will be allowed to use these shops for their own purposes.
There is an Admin Shop right at spawn! Look for the giant crafting table building.
You can CRAFT horse armor, nametags, and saddles on Odyssey!
Of course we have Tree Assist! (Works only with Stone Axe currently)
Planned events! (Coming soon)
And much MUCH more!

We try to cater to the needs of all of our users. If you have suggestions, don't be afraid to tell us. We're always looking for ways to improve our server so you get the game-play you deserve.

Just a few general rules about our server:

Don't ask staff for items. It's survival, so this is selfexplanatory
Please don't ask us to become staff within the first few minutes of your arrival. You're wasting your time, and our time.
Don't try to pull the "I'm from PMC" trick on us. We know how to check the actual staff list.
Be nice, be considerate, and be respectful! We do the same for you.

TL;DR

No PvP, no raiding, no griefing, no stealing, anti-grief plugin, shops, fun mini-games, friendly staff and users, crafting horse armor, saddles, and nametags.
