Orchid SMP is a vanilla survival server that has just recently launched! (Jan 12 2024) there is already a strong community of players and plenty of fun projects being built! the goal is to give players a place to build amazing creations and make friends! The server is also extremely fast. You spawn on a island take a boat and head out, after a long boat ride you can start building! We have a strong moderation team and advanced logging so your builds will be protected and griefers / thief's will be banned!

Players have access to a plugin that allows you to upload images as map art to the server!

We also have a discord server and a live map!

Update #1 : by Orchid SMP 01/21/2024 5:05:25 pmJanuary 21, 2024 @ 10:05 pm UTC

NEW UPDATE!!!
After 36mg of concerta, 3 hours and a little neurodivergence we now have these new features!!!

  • Invisible item frames

Players now can make item frames invisible by crouching and right clicking a frame! (not visible to bedrockers)

  • Player Heads

When killed (consensually) players now drop their head!

  • Mob Heads

Mobs have a slim chance of dropping their own heads when killed! Hopefully this will create a fun little side quest for players to get head
  • Villager Zombification

Due to the server being on normal difficulty initially villagers when attacked by zombies would die rather than be converted to zombie villagers. Now the rate of zombification is 100% while still keeping the normal difficulty.

Players now have access to the "/imageframe" command, if you have empty maps in your inventory you can create a image with the command "/imageframe create <name> <url> <width> <height>"

We also now have functional proximity chat (simple voice chat) (optional)
