Outland is a fresh new server which aims to form a sensational Minecraft experience with a great community to accompany that experience. After months of playing various servers, only to be disappointed when they were shut down or didn't live up to the 'standard', we decided enough was enough. Outland was formed. A survival server with a main focus on PvP -- a 24/7 uptime on a dedicated server -- no lag guaranteed.

JOIN US

To connect to our server, use either: 37.122.248.80 or play.outland.in. The server should be up 24/7, however, in the unlikely and unfortunate event that the server is down, we will keep you updated via this thread. There is no whitelist. Just connect, play and enjoy Outland.

Please note that the server is in early stages. If you come across something that you feel is not working as intended, please contact an admin immediately. We are always open to suggestions which will better the server and the community as a whole.

PLUGINS & FEATURES

Essentials gives the player more control with a wide variety of extra commands which have been added to the server. To list a few, type /spawn to return to the spawn area. Type /sethome to set your home and "/home" to return to it. You can also request to teleport to another player using /tpa.

Factions are enabled to allow a player to create a faction. The factions can claim territory that will be protected from others. Factions can also forge alliances and declare themselves at war with others. Land may also be gained/taken from another faction through war.

Jobs is a plugin that is linked with the server economy and allows users to earn while they play. There is a wide variety of jobs such as Miner, Woodcutter and Farmer. You can level up your profession and gain money (which can be used to buy items from the shop) for doing certain tasks.

We use Essentials for our economy. We have one shop which can be used by the community as a whole to purchase and sell items. We don't currently have any plans to expand this feature (for example, allowing other players to create shops etc).

Other small features include, but are not limited to the following:
  • World backups generated on a daily basis (if anything happens, we can restore easily!)
  • At the moment, griefing is allowed unless claimed by a faction (in certain cases, you can ask an admin to protect your creations via WorldGuard, don't be afraid to ask, we won't bite!)
  • The ability to donate via Buycraft and receive generous rewards for doing so (don't worry, nothing that will spoil gameplay for others)


SERVER RULES
  1. No hate speech whatsoever
  2. No hacking or exploiting
  3. Don't abuse chat (spam etc)
  4. Respect staff and members
  5. No pointless building (1x1 towers)
  6. No combat logging
  7. Use common sense


WANT TO DONATE?

We use Buycraft to handle server donations. All donations are appreciated and will be used towards the server cost. Obviously, should the community grow, we will need to upgrade our server to handle the population. It's very easy to donate, just use the "/buy" command. Once you donate, you will receive your rank/items immediately. A basic list of donation ranks are listed below:
